MedWest Health System has a range of Cancer Services to offer Western North Carolina.

Our innovative Nurse Navigator program matches those diagnosed with cancer with a nurse navigator that walks them step by step throughout the cancer treatment process.

We also have a state-of-the-art radiation therapy facility in Mountain Regional Cancer Center that is located in Sylva. This means treatment can be done closed to home.

Our Breast Center in Harris Medical Park co-locates one of our general surgery practices with digital mammography and our radiologist. This enables open communication and efficient care for those that may have something detected during the examination.
