When
you are discharged, your physician provides a written release from
the Hospital. Your nurse reviews with you any final instructions
from your physician.
The
Admitting office provides a courtesy discharge notice to your room.
If you have not received this notice, please call or visit the Patient
Financial Counselor before you go home to make arrangements for payment
on your account. The counselor is available 8:00 a.m to 4:30 p.m. weekdays
at 452-8107. At other times, the Admitting staff will be able to assist
you.
A patient escort will accompany you from your room to the main entrance
and will assist
you with your luggage and personal items.
In order to prepare the room for another patient, we ask that you
depart by 1:00 p.m. on the day of your discharge.
