Your Meals
Your meals at Haywood Regional Medical Center are prepared by the Food and Nutrition Services Department. A catering associate will visit you daily to assist with meal selections for the day. Patient meals are served at the following times:

Breakfast 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Dinner 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Some tests and examinations may require your meal to be delayed or omitted. Please ask your nurse or physician if you have any questions.

Guest Meals
Guest meals are available for family members who wish to dine with a patient. Please call the cashier at
452-8132 or 452-8101 at least one hour prior to the service time. They are glad to arrange for delivery and take your payment.

Special Services
Birthday trays, stork club meals, and alternative menus are offered as a special service to our patients. Please ask your nurse if you would like more information on these services.

Nutrition Counseling
Nutrition counseling is available upon request. If you have questions concerning your diet or would like a nutrition counseling session, ask your nurse or physician to arrange a visit from a Hospital dietician.

Cafeteria
The Hospital cafeteria is located on the second floor and is open to visitors and families of our patients. Food is prepared daily. The cafeteria is open between 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. except from 10:15-10:45 a.m. when the cafeteria is closed for set-up. Meal times are as follows:

Breakfast 6:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
Lunch 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Dinner 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Grill 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Vending machines are located on the second floor.
