The Chaplaincy program of HRMC provides pastoral and spiritual
care during your hospitalization.
Our chaplains are professionally trained for this very
special ministry and are here to offer support and comfort.
Either
staff chaplains or on-call clergy represent all denominations
of faith.
Our chaplains offer you and your family encouragement and
a listening ear during your hospital stay. We provide advice
and consolation in times of crisis or grief, by relying on
God’s protection and healing presence.
You will be asked at your time of admission if you would
like to receive a visit from a chaplain. Arrangements can
be made for a chaplain of your faith to visit. Or, the
chaplain will be glad to contact your own local minister
or church,
if you make that request. Visits can take place on the
nursing floor, in a waiting room, or the emergency department.
Our
chaplains respond 24 hours a day.
A chapel is located on the second floor of the hospital.
It is open 24 hours for quiet reflection for you and
your family.
