Billing & Accounts
Before leaving the hospital, please be sure you have provided
us with all your current demographic and insurance information.
As a courtesy to you, Haywood Regional Medical Center will
make every effort to promptly submit a claim to your insurer.
We will furnish you with monthly statements that will advise
you about the status of your accounts, such as insurance
payments and any patient balance, which may be due.
Your hospital bill will not include charges for your private
physician or for hospital-based physicians such as anesthesiologists,
emergency department physicians, hospitalists, pathologists,
or radiologists. These physicians will bill separately.
If you have any questions about our bill or would like
to request an itemized bill for your hospitalization, please
call the Cashier’s office, 452-8132.
