Haywood Regional Medical Center is pleased to offer transitional, skilled, short-term services provided through our Restorative Care Unit.

Located on the hospital’s 6th floor, the Restorative Care Unit offers specially designed services to “bridge the gap” between hospital and home.

These professional health care services are for patients who are discharged from Haywood Regional Medical
Center or another acute care facility but still require skilled professional care.

The Restorative Care Unit provides the needed care to help residents regain lost abilities, reestablish independence, and return to their normal surroundings.
