Our radiologists are certified by the American Board of Radiology with extensive training and experience in all areas of technology. We offer our patients the latest technology in diagnostic testing while staying close to home.

Some of the services available include:

  • Mammography with skilled interpretation and timely results in a comfortable private setting, ACR, FDA certified
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) – the Philips Achieva MRI provides the most advanced imaging capability of any medical facility in the Western North Carolina region.
  • Spiral CT scanner, providing three-dimensional viewing
  • Bone densitometer, providing detection of osteoporosis
  • Ultrasound equipment, providing color Doppler images of a wide variety of diagnostic applications.
  • Fluoroscopy equipment, providing fast images through digital enhancement and laser imaging technology
  • Vascular angiography and special procedures
  • 2 nuclear cameras, one specifically designed to image the heart and the other to image all other parts of the body. While conventional x-ray, CT, and MRI can tell you what an organ looks like, nuclear medicine cameras can tell you how it is functioning.

Our state-of-the-art stereotactic breast biopsy system distinguishes between benign and malignant breast lesions with a high degree of accuracy in the least invasive and practically painless way.
  • The PACS (Picture Archicve Communications System) provides the most advanced
    technology in imaging services.
