What is a Massage Session?
Prior to a session, the client will fill out a medical intake form. The
massage session is performed on a comfortable massage table in a private
room. The client disrobes in private, to their level of comfort, and
covers with a sheet before the therapist enters the room. The client
remains draped throughout the session except for the area being worked
on. It is the responsibility of the client to communicate with the
therapist, to insure an enjoyable and beneficial session. Massage can
also be performed effectively with the client fully dressed. Massage
releases the toxins from the muscles of the body. Please remember to
drink water to flush the toxins out of your body.
The Benefits of Massage
Massage can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation,
increase muscular and joint flexibility, reduce mental and physical
fatigue, promote faster healing, reduce or prevent adhesions of injured
muscular tissue, improve posture, reduce frequency and intensity of
headaches, and release stored cellular toxins. Massage is also known
to promote better sleep, improve concentration, reduce anxiety and
create an overall sense of well-being. In addition, massage is among
the most effective means available to combat stress. Whatever your
massage need, our services are provided by North Carolina Licensed
Massage and Bodywork Therapist.

energy to corresponding parts of the body to clear out congestion and
restore normal functioning.
