of your session.

their fitness
goals.

is not of benefit to the client, or provide alternative exercises
to accomplish the goal.
Why a Certified Personal Trainer?
A certified personal trainer has undergone training, both in theory
and hands on practicum, to learn the most effective and efficient methods
for achieving physical fitness. This knowledge is tested to ensure the
personal trainer can instruct properly.
How can a trainer help members?
Can you answer "yes" to following?:
- “I’m not achieving the goals I set out to accomplish
when I joined! I am becoming extremely frustrated.”
- “I
have been lifting weights for a while and I would like to increase
my strength further, but it seems as though I have reached
a sticking point. What can I do?”
- “I have never exercised before, and I’m not
sure exactly how to set up a program for myself. What can I do?”
- “I’ve had the same routine for the past few months
and I’m getting bored. Can someone set up a program with a little
variety?”
- “I have always used machine weights but
have really been interested in trying free weights. Could someone design
a program with
free weights?”
- “I don’t have an exercise
partner, so it is hard to stay motivated and keep coming.”
The trainer can teach the correct form and function for specific exercises
to gain strength, muscle tone, and most importantly, avoid injuries to
muscles and joints. In addition, a personal trainer can teach new ways
of training muscles to add variety to members workouts and help overcome
training plateaus.
When do members meet with a personal trainer?:
The appointment is set
up between the member and the trainer at a time convenient for both.
During this time the trainer discusses individual
fitness goals and how to best achieve them.
