Welcome to the fitness floor, we are glad you are with us! Let's get acquainted!

Our Exercise Specialists are always monitoring the exercise floor. You will also see them:

  • Assisting members with the cardio equipment, and demonstrating proper technique on strength equipment
  • Monitoring for safety on the floor, and taking attendance in the areas
  • Ensuring equipment and the upstairs areas are clean
  • Chatting and encouraging members with their workouts.
  • Checking blood pressures

The Fitness desk is your information center on 2nd floor. If you need assistance, please wait and someone will be with you shortly. You will also find your exercise logs located at the fitness desk, along with sweat towels, informational flyers, a book rack, a place to get your blood pressure checked, or make a fitness appointment.

The Fitness Floor is divided into 4 Basic Areas, whose close proximity adds to the convenience of your workout:

Cardiovascular Area:

  • Equipment such as, Elliptical Precors, Nustep, Treadmills, Recumbent & Upright bikes, Steppers, and more.
  • The cardio equipment is wired to the Cardio Theater system allowing you to hear 8 different televison stations.  Don't forget your headphones.
  • Cleaning stations are available to assist us with cleanliness of the equipment

Machine Weight Area:

  • Body Masters equipment is lettered to allow for a full body workout
  • Body Masters Total Body Circuit cable
  • Bi-lateral equipment by Hammer Strength

Free Weight Area:

  • 3lb to 100lb dumbbells
  • Smith Machine and Squat Rack
  • Flat, incline, and decline benches

Stretching & Abdominal Area:

  • More secluded environment for lying exercises and safer than out on the floor.
  • Resist-a-balls, ab rollers, mat bench, mats, medicine balls.

In all over 115 different pieces of fitness training equipment, excluding dumbbells & barbells! It can be intimidating at first...please ask us for assistance.

In addition to “on the spot” assistance, we offer other programs to ensure comfort on the floor as well as specialized services.

Fitness Assessment Program:

  • Great for members who want to measure their progress
  • Comprehensive analysis of strong or weak points
  • Separate meeting with a personal trainer to design a specific program related to individual goals.

Graduate Pass Program:

  • Graduates from a rehab, CORE, Healthy Weight Solutions, Diabetes Education; 6 month or monthly pass members only
  • Those who need special assistance due to fitness concerns, such as, cardiac/pulmonary problems, arthritis, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, etc.
  • Designed for those who have had a past injury or illness that would restrict their ability to exercise at full capacity.
  • Physiologist develop a beginning routine, as well as, demonstrate the equipment appropriate for each individual.
  • Free for first consultation
  • Personal training sessions available for continued assistance

The Cost?

We have a variety of training packages, member and non-member, whether it is a one-time session or on-going training. Personal Training brochures are located at the front desk and the 2nd floor fitness desk. Individuals need to complete the registration information, both front and back, circle desired package, make payment to the front desk, put completed form and receipt in the fitness mailbox, and contact will be made within three business days.
