American Red Cross Medical Center Program
The Red Cross volunteers continue to provide tremendous support to the staff of Haywood Regional Medical Center.  These volunteers distribute patient mail, provide messenger services, and pharmacy assistance.  Several Red Cross volunteers assist at the Health and Fitness Center and provide numerous services to staff,  as well as to members of the Health and Fitness Center. 

Volunteens, a group of approximately thirty enthusiastic youth (14 yrs to 18 yrs old), provide similar services after school hours.  They also assist in the childcare center at the Health and Fitness Center. We appreciate Vi Terrell of the Red Cross for providing Volunteens training and support during the time they are part of this program.
