4/11 Information Update

CEO SEARCH FIRM SELECTED
The HRMC Hospital Authority Board voted to select McAuley Firm, a Charlotte based company
 to assist HRMC in the process of selecting a new CEO.

CEO SEARCH COMMITTEE ANNOUNCED
Board Chair, Glenn White announced the following appointees to the CEO Search Committee:

Larry Ammons, Chair, Haywood County Commissioners
Jill Burnette, R.N. HRMC employee since 1987
Johnnie Sue Freck, R.N. HRMC employee since 2007
Shannon Hunter, M.D., ENT, Chief of Medical Staff
Frances, Owl-Smith, M.D., Pathology
Michael Pass, M.D., Family Medicine and Medical Director of Hospice
Frank Powers, Vice-Chair, HRMC Foundation
Phyllis Prevost, Chair, HRMC Foundation
Hospital Authority Executive Committee:

 *   Jim Stevens, Vice Chair
 *   Mark Clasby, Treasurer
 *   Richard Steele, M.D., Secretary

EMPLOYEE ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSIONS
Employee roundtable discussions with the CEO will continue on Wednesdays.  Mr. Byers reported there was lively discussion on ideas for improving patient care and the work place environment at the April 9 meeting.  After three meetings a briefing of the discussions will be provided.  Employees interested in participating may contact Kim Jackson.

EXCITING PLANS FOR COMMUNITY RALLY!
Please see the attached flyer and schedule of events planned for the Community Rally at HRMC on Sunday, April 27th 2-5 p.m.   Sincere, heartfelt thanks to the generosity of so many musicians, entertainers and volunteers for donating their talents and service to this grassroots community event.  Mark your calendars!
