Michael Evans Named HRMC Employee of the Month

Michael Evans a painter in the Engineering Department at Haywood Regional Medical Center was selected as the employee of the month for May 2007. He received commendation for going above and beyond expectations, working through lunches as well as staying late, in order to assure all items were completed in order for the 7 West floor to open as scheduled.

Evans, who has been employed with HRMC for five years, said that the best thing he enjoys about his job is being able to learn new things about maintenance activities. A native of Haywood County and a graduate of Pisgah High School, in his spare time he enjoys going to the lake, racing, and driving for a wrecker service.
