Ergogenic Aids and Performance Enhancement Supplements in Sports Medicine HRMC Supper Seminar Aims to Educate Athletes of All Ages

Chris Catterson, M.D., director of Haywood Sports Medicine and partner with Western Carolina Orthopedic Surgery, will present a talk on “Ergogenic Aids and Performance Enhancement Supplements in Sports Medicine: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” Dr. Catterson will share information about the use of hormones, stimulants, diuretics, beta blockers, blood doping, nutritional supplements, caffeine drinks, and herbs in athletes of all ages at this informational Supper and Learn seminar. Thursday, May 17. 6 to 7:30 p.m. Haywood Regional Health and Fitness Center. Advance reservations are required and a fee of $4 (includes supper) will be charged at the door.
