Do you or does someone you love take more than one medication? If so, bring all the medications in their original containers in a brown paper bag and let Haywood Regional Medical Center and local pharmacists review them. This program can provide recommendations after review that could prevent potential problems, such as: possible interactions with other medications, avoidable side effects, or overdose. Haywood Regional Medical Center is hosting periodic guided Tea and Tours in order to aid community understanding about available services and features of our hospital and facilities.According to Robin Tindall-Taylor, HRMC Foundation and Corporate Communications director, “We’re implementing these Tea and Tours in an effort to educate the public and answer questions. We hope the experience will help convey that this is a friendly, patient-centered hospital, and it’s a place to be proud of, where we want everyone to feel welcome.”
