Haywood Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission. The Joint Commission conducts a full survey of each organization every three years. On-site visits are unannounced.  Joint Commission will receive comments and complaints regarding quality and patient safety, and investigate these issues during the survey process. Haywood Regional Medical Center is licensed in North Carolina by the Division of Health Services Regulation.
