MedWest-Harris and MedWest-Swain offering free Life’s Path cancer support groups in March

Sylva and Bryson City, N.C. – MedWest-Harris and MedWest-Swain are offering the following free Life’s Path cancer programs and support groups in March: 

The Man to Man Support Group for prostate cancer patients and survivors will meet from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, March 11 in the Harris Medical Park conference room at 98 Doctors Dr. in Sylva. The group meets the second Monday of each month. Hugh Moon and Joe Hurt, MD are co-chairmen of the American Cancer Society support group. 

The MedWest-Swain WNC Breast Cancer Support Group, which meets the second Tuesday of every month, will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 12 in the private dining room next to the cafeteria at MedWest-Swain in Bryson City. 

The MedWest-Harris WNC Breast Cancer Support Group, which meets the fourth Tuesday of every month in the Harris Medical Park conference room at 98 Doctors Dr. in Sylva, will meet from 7 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 26.

These Life’s Path Support Groups are part of MedWest’s comprehensive cancer treatment services, which include state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and advanced radiation therapy services at Mountain Regional Cancer Center in Sylva.
